About us.
Hi, I’m Kelsey Huxford, owner of The 1900 and proud resident of Rosedale, IN. This community is home to me, and it is where our family have chosen to build our life. When I am not at the venue, you’ll find me with my children or helping on our family farm.
For as long as I can remember, I have loved bringing people together. Whether it is hosting family gatherings, celebrating milestones, or simply creating opportunities for friends and neighbors to connect, I have always believed that life’s best moments are the ones we share.
That passion inspired me to create a venue where others could celebrate their own special occasions in a beautiful, historic, welcoming setting. My goal is to offer more than just a place to host an event, it is to provide an experience where every guest feels at home and every celebration reflects the people at its heart.
From weddings and anniversaries to birthdays, showers, and corporate events, I feel honored to be a small part of some of life’s biggest moments. I know how important these occasions are, and I am committed to helping make each one as memorable and stress-free as possible.

The event space offers a full kitchen, seating for 68 with tabletop/bar top, mens & womens restrooms, and outdoor courtyard seating for 12 with tabletop.
